Was ist denn das für ein Geschwätz? Habt ihr zwei denn je die komplette Quake Reihe gezockt?
Normalerweise bemängeln doch die meisten immer die Story und jetzt sowas, ich glaubs ja nicht :no:
Hab hier mal noch was zusammengetragen, scheinbar hat das bisher keine erwähnt:
*Game focus on singleplayer.
*Quake 4 takes place just hours after Quake 2 ending.
*Tim Willits is a behind the scenes super-visor of Quake 4. This is a bad thing. Either he fucked up on Doom 3, or I don't like survivor horror games. And I am a System Shock 2 freak. If you thought D3 was scary, get System Shock 2. You'll wet yourself.
*Uses a version of the Doom 3 engine that has lighting and texturing tweaks.
*Your character is a "vital part of the war effort".
*Usually in the company of other marines (think CoD).
*Huge outdoor areas.
*More GORY than Doom3. Woot.
*Considers it self different from Doom 3 because it's a "Over the top action game" instead of a "Survival horror game".
*Features flying vehicles.
*Gunner, Gladiator, Strogg Marine are back, with varations of each.
*Will have swearing (something Doom 3 lacked).
*Features "Hovertank".
*Hovertank is 100% pilotable.
*Quote: "You'll be fighting, alone, with an army, indoors, outdoors, in vehicles, you name it."
*Quote: We want this game to feel like an action movie."
*NEW AI, the AI is supposed to be very smart, taticly using terrain and firing positions. Quote: "Raven is paying a lot of attention to AI routines and situational level desing in Quake 4".
*Levels disigned with specific enemies in mind.
*Multiplayer is a 100% copy of Quake 3. It will play exactly the same. Will have more than 4 players. Will feature DM and CTF.
